Charging problems are common and can usually be resolved easily. Work through the following points in order.
1. Check and clean the charging contacts
- Clean the charging contacts on the robot (rear) and on the station with a dry cloth.
- Grass clippings, soil or moisture on the contacts will prevent charging.
- Check whether the contacts are visibly damaged or corroded.
2. Check the charging station
- Check that the charging station is powered (LED is on).
- Check that the power cable is firmly connected.
- Make sure the charging station has not shifted and is still level.
3. Check the infrared receiver
- Clean the infrared receiver on the robot and the infrared transmitter on the station.
- Contamination here prevents the robot from finding the station and docking correctly.
4. Place the robot manually on the station
- Place the robot manually and correctly aligned on the charging station.
- Check whether charging begins (LED indicator on the robot or in the app).
5. Check the error code in the app
Tabelle
| Error code | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| 1300 | Poor positioning status | Wait for re-localisation |
| 1301 | Charging station has been moved | Reposition the charging station |
| 2726 | Battery overcharged | Stop charging immediately, contact customer service |
| 2727 | Battery deeply discharged | Charge the robot immediately |
6. Restart the robot
- Switch the robot off, wait 10 seconds and switch it back on.
- Try starting the charging process again.
When to contact customer service?
- Charging contacts are visibly damaged or corroded.
- The robot repeatedly shows error code 2726 (overcharge).
- Charging does not start after all the above steps.
