If your robot won't switch on, it is usually due to one of the following. Work through the checklist in order.
1. Check the safety key
- Make sure the safety key is fully inserted.
- The robot will not start without the safety key.
2. Check the battery
- If the battery is completely flat, the robot will not respond to the power button.
- Place the robot on the charging station and wait at least 30 minutes.
- Check that the charging contacts are clean and dry.
3. Use the power button correctly
- Hold the on/off button for at least 3 seconds.
- A brief press is not enough.
4. Check the charging station
- Check that the charging station is powered (LED is on).
- Clean the charging contacts on the robot and station with a dry cloth.
5. Restart the robot
- Switch the robot off, wait 10 seconds and switch it back on.
- If applicable: return the robot to the charging station and start it via the Mammotion app.
6. Check the firmware
- Open the Mammotion app and check whether a firmware update is available.
- A faulty update can block the start-up process.
When to contact customer service?
