Warranty Terms & Warranty Duration
Your iRobot device comes with a manufacturer's warranty. Here you can find out what is covered and how long the warranty is valid.
Warranty Duration
- Roomba robot vacuums (all series): 2 years from the date of purchase.
- Roomba Combo models (105, 205, Plus 405, Plus 505, Max 705): 2 years from the date of purchase.
- Braava Jet (250, m series): 2 years from the date of purchase.
- Braava 300 series: 2 years from the date of purchase.
- Docks (Home Base, Clean Base, AutoEmpty™ Dock, AutoWash™ Dock): Same warranty duration as the associated device.
- Batteries: 2 years from the date of purchase (with proper use).
- Accessories (brushes, filters, mopping pads): Wear parts – no warranty.
What Is Covered
- Material and manufacturing defects during normal use.
- Defective electronics, motors or sensors not caused by external factors.
- Faulty batteries (e.g. no charge despite correct use).
What Is NOT Covered
- Damage caused by improper use, drops or liquid damage (except mopping function within intended scope).
- Normal wear and tear (brushes, filters, wheels, mopping pads, dust bags).
- Damage caused by unauthorised repairs or modifications.
- Devices without a valid proof of purchase.
Important
- Keep your proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) – it is required for every warranty claim.
- The warranty only applies to devices purchased from authorised retailers in Switzerland.
- Register your device in the iRobot HOME App to speed up the warranty process.
