How to prepare your Mammotion robot for the winter break

When the mowing season ends, carefully prepare your robot and charging station for storage. This ensures a smooth start to the new season in spring.

 

Storing the robot

 
  1. Remove the robot from the charging station and ensure the battery level is at least 80%.
  2. Switch the robot off.
  3. Clean the robot with a damp cloth or soft brush.
  4. Allow the robot to dry completely.
  5. Apply a corrosion inhibitor to the charging contacts.
  6. Remove the bumper and clean the connector with a brush.
  7. Remove the safety key.
  8. Store the robot indoors – essential if temperatures drop below -10 °C.
 

Storing the charging station

 
  1. Disconnect the power supply.
  2. Remove the ground stakes.
  3. Clean the charging station thoroughly with a brush and cloth.
  4. Store the charging station and power supply indoors – essential if temperatures drop below -20 °C.
 

Storing the RTK reference station

 
  1. Disconnect the RTK reference station from the power supply.
  2. Coil the cable and tighten the protective cap.
  3. Cover the station with a plastic bag or tarpaulin.
  4. At temperatures below -20 °C: Delete the map in the app, fully dismantle the station and store it indoors.
