Setting Up No-Go Zones and Virtual Fences
How to block areas your Mammotion robot should not enter
In the Mammotion app, you can block certain areas so your robot does not enter them. Two tools are available: No-Go Zones and Virtual Fences.
No-Go Zone
A no-go zone is an area the robot avoids completely. It will not mow there.
Typical use cases:
- Low flower beds (under 20 cm height)
- Water edges such as ponds or pools
- Pet kennels
- Sensitive or edible plants
- Small obstacles such as washing lines or tent ropes
Virtual Fence
A virtual fence acts as an invisible barrier and limits the robot's driving area.
Typical use cases:
- Lawns with unclear or undefined boundaries
- Water features such as pools or ponds
