Positioning the RTK Antenna Correctly

How to optimally place the RTK antenna of your Mammotion robot mower – for reliable navigation and a secure connection.

The RTK antenna is essential for the precise navigation of your Mammotion robot mower. Keep the following in mind when setting it up:

 
  • The antenna needs a clear line of sight to the sky, but not necessarily to the robot.
  • The connection radius is up to 5 km.
  • The visibility radius for the RTK signal is 120 degrees.
  • The antenna is eco-friendly: a solar panel powers it.
 

Important notes:

  • The RTK antenna must always remain in the same location. If it is moved, the map must be recreated.
  • Higher is not better: the higher the antenna, the greater the risk of lightning strikes and the more complex the assembly/disassembly for winter storage.
