1. Check and replace the cutting blades
- Check the blades for wear, damage or deformation.
- Blunt or damaged blades leave an uneven cut pattern.
- Replace all blades at the same time – including screws and washers.
- Recommendation: replace every 3 months or after 150 operating hours.
2. Clean the cutting disc and underside
- Remove grass clippings and deposits from the cutting disc and underside.
- Clogged cutting discs significantly reduce cutting performance.
- Wear protective gloves when cleaning.
3. Adjust the cutting height
- Check whether the set cutting height is suitable for the current lawn condition.
- For very long grass: increase the cutting height and plan several passes.
- Recommendation: do not cut more than one third of the grass height per pass.
4. Check the mowing schedule and mode
- Check in the Mammotion app whether the mowing schedule is correctly configured.
- Choose a suitable mowing mode for your terrain.
- Make sure all areas of the lawn are included in the task area.
5. In wet grass
- Wet grass sticks to the blades and underside and impairs performance.
- Plan mowing sessions in dry weather where possible.
- Clean the robot thoroughly after mowing in wet conditions.
6. Check for motor overheating
- Error code 316 or 326 in the app indicates overheating of the cutting disc motor.
- Allow the robot to cool down – it will automatically resume operation.
When to contact customer service?
