How to correctly install the RTK antenna – for precise navigation of your Mammotion robot mower

The RTK antenna provides precise GPS navigation for your Mammotion robot mower. Correct installation is essential for reliable mapping and smooth operation.

 

Applicable to: LUBA 2 AWD, LUBA 3 AWD, LUBA mini AWD, LUBA mini 2 AWD

 

Choosing the location

  • The antenna needs a clear view of the sky – no direct line of sight to the robot required
  • Choose a firm, stable surface for the mast
  • Avoid locations near metal structures or buildings that could interfere with the signal
  • Optimal field of view: 120 degrees
  • Connection range: up to 5 km
 

Consider the height

  • Higher is not automatically better
  • The higher the antenna, the greater the lightning strike risk
  • Choose a practical height that makes dismantling and reassembly for winter storage easier
 

Installation – step by step

  1. Insert the antenna mast into the ground or secure it to a suitable support
  2. Mount the RTK unit onto the mast
  3. Align the antenna so it has a clear view of the sky
  4. The integrated solar panel powers the antenna – no cable required
  5. Connect the antenna to your robot via the app
 

Important: Do not move the RTK antenna after mapping. If you move it, the map must be recreated.
