Checking and Replacing the Cutting Blades
How to identify wear and replace the blades on your Mammotion robot
The cutting blades are wear parts. Blunt or damaged blades reduce mowing quality and put strain on the motor. Check them regularly and replace them in good time.
When do the blades need to be replaced?
- Every 3 months or after 150 operating hours – whichever comes first.
- With dense or tough grass, more frequent replacement may be necessary.
- Immediately if visible damage such as cracks, bends or heavy wear is present.
Warning: Always wear protective gloves when replacing blades. Do not use an electric screwdriver.
Replacing the cutting blades
- Switch the robot off completely.
- Carefully place the robot on a soft, clean surface – ensure no pressure is applied to the LiDAR module.
- Remove the old blades using the supplied screwdriver (Phillips bit).
- Install the new blades using the supplied screws.
- Always replace all screws at the same time.
- After installation, ensure all blades rotate freely.
Note: Replacement blades are included in the delivery. Additional blades are available from Mammotion customer service or your dealer.
