Adjusting the Obstacle Detection

Your Mammotion robot automatically detects obstacles and avoids them. You can adjust the sensitivity of this detection in the app.

How to change the obstacle detection mode

• In the app, tap Mow > Settings > Obstacle Detection Mode.
• Select one of the three levels:

Available levels

• Sensitive: The robot reacts to both standard obstacles and non-grass surfaces (e.g. paving, gravel). Recommended for complex lawn areas.
• Standard: The robot detects and avoids common obstacles such as toys or garden furniture. This is the recommended default setting.
• Off: Obstacle detection is disabled. Only use this in controlled environments where no obstacles are expected.

Note: Only disable obstacle detection when you are certain that no people, animals or objects are in the mowing area.
