How do I charge my robot for the first time?

How to activate and charge your robot before first use.

First charge of your robot

Your robot is delivered partially charged. Before starting the first cleaning, charge it fully.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Remove protections: Remove all protective films from the camera and foam inserts behind the bumper (for new 100/200/400/500/700 series and j series).
  2. Place robot on the dock: Position the robot in front of the dock and push it in until the metal charging contacts touch.
  3. Wait for activation: After a few minutes, a sound or LED indicator will signal the robot is active.
  4. Charge fully: Charge the robot for at least 3 hours (older models) or 4 hours (new 100/200/400/500/700 series) before starting the first cleaning.

LED indicators while charging

  • Pulsing white: Charging.
  • Solid white: Fully charged and ready.
  • Flashing red: Low battery or error.
  • Green (older models, e.g. 600 series WiFi): Fully charged.
