How long can a dirt bag be used before it needs to be replaced?

 

The lifespan of a dirt bag depends on several factors:

  • Frequency of use – The more often your robot cleans, the faster the bag fills up

According to user experience, the dirt bag typically needs to be changed every 3 to 8 months. You will receive an automatic notification via the iRobot Home App as soon as the bag is full and needs to be replaced.

 

How does the replacement work?

 

Replacement is simple and hygienic:

  1. The app notifies you when the bag is full
  2. Open the CleanBase and remove the dirt bag
  3. The bag closes automatically when removed
  4. Dispose of the sealed bag in household waste
  5. Insert a new dirt bag
