How to insert the dust bag into your AutoEmpty™ Dock or Clean Base™.

Inserting the dust bag before first use

Your AutoEmpty™ Dock, AutoWash™ Dock or Clean Base™ has a dust bag compartment. The dust bag must be correctly inserted before the first cleaning for automatic emptying to work.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open the compartment: Open the dust bag compartment door at the front (Clean Base) or top (AutoEmpty™/AutoWash™ Dock).
  2. Insert the bag: Insert the bag along the guide rails. Make sure the cardboard frame clicks into place.
  3. Close the compartment: Close the compartment door.

When to replace the bag?

  • The waste indicator LED lights up when the bag is full.
  • A bag lasts approximately 30–60 days depending on usage.
  • Use only original iRobot AllergenLock™ dust bags.
