Preparing your Combo robot for mopping mode

Depending on the model, your Combo robot uses a mopping pad (manually attached) or a built-in mopping roller.

Models with mopping pad (Roomba 105, 205)

  1. Attach the pad: Attach the supplied mopping pad to the underside of the robot on the pad frame.
  2. Fill the water tank: Open the water tank on the robot and fill it with clean tap water up to the MAX line.
  3. Select cleaning mode: Choose mopping mode or combined vacuum and mop mode in the app.

Models with roller and AutoWash™ Dock (Plus 405, Plus 505, Max 705)

  1. Check the roller: The roller is factory-installed. Check that it is correctly seated.
  2. Fill the water tank: Fill the clean water tank in the AutoWash™ Dock (see article 2.6).
  3. Start cleaning: Place the robot on the dock and start cleaning.

Automatic pad lifting

Some Combo models (e.g. 105, 205) automatically lift the mopping pad when carpet is detected.

Applicable models

With mopping pad: Roomba 105, 115, 205.
With roller + AutoWash™ Dock: Roomba Plus 405, Plus 406, Plus 505, Plus 515, Max 705.
